If you love road trip films, then this is perfect. This film is one of my all time favourites. The trip turns into an opportunity to mend fences, heal wounds, fall in love with life and combat their worst fears. Plot: Friends Kabir, Imran and Arjun take a vacation in Spain before Kabir's marriage. Zoya Akhtar (trans: Life Doesn't Come Again) A simple, sweet story that will leave you smiling in the end, and it also includes a few beautiful shots of Mumbai sightseeing ?ģ. This is essentially a romcom with a delightful dose of roommates/coworkers AU. Plot: Siddharth Mehra, a spoilt and selfish college student, learns the meaning of life and the importance of responsibility from Aisha, an aspiring writer from Kolkata. Not to mention the music is incredible ? Its creative and visually amazing and just all around wonderful.
But it was so beautifully written and performed, with some really smart, hard hitting moments that discuss important issues such as child mental health and parent-pressure, and it's one of the few hindi films with positively depicted neurodivergent leads. Ok so this was one of the movies that genuinely made me cry as a kid. Ram, an art teacher, however, realises he has dyslexia and helps him uncover his potential. Plot: Ishaan is criticised by his parents for his poor academic performance and is sent away to a boarding school. Amole Gupte, Amir Khan (trans: Stars On Earth)
And this rec goes for both desis and non-Indians who want to try watching indian films <3ġ. This is just (probably part one of) a collection of bollywood films that I think are amazing (because there are some gems out there). I felt such relief and peace after! I ran into the client at a store months later and literally ran out of the store! That was my massage horror story.Ok so this is purely a product of my complete boredom. Boss asked me if I wanted to file any sexual harassment charges against him, but since it happened a while back I said no. I finally got the courage to tell my boss months later what happened and he banned him from every going to any Massage Envy’s worldwide. At this point I hated coming in to work, asked for less hours and just every time a male client came in I would feel nauseous. He started apologizing and dumb me proceeded massaging him as fast as i could, just to get him out of there! LMP’s if your client ever makes you uncomfortable, LEAVE! stop everything and LEAVE! I was too embarrassed to tell my boss what happened and didn’t tell anyone anything while he still came back and I massaged him maybe 2 or 3 more times. Oh my gosh! I yank my hand away from his and look at him in shock, he then says,“I won’t tell anyone.” Like what the heck?! I was in shock and didn’t know what to do. After seeing him for about half a year (I also worked on his wife once) I was working on him and had him in supine position, working on his legs, when out of nowhere he takes my hand and moves it towards his genital area and says, “Please”. He would always tip me reeeaalllly good! I didn’t get any weird vibes from him. He was maybe in his early 60’s and barely spoke English. I used to have a regular client that would come in 2 times a month for a 90 minute massage. I used to work at Massage Envy before I opened up my own practice. He tipped in person & was polite the rest of the time, never came back.ġ1 notes Tags: massage therapy massage therapist massage that's a good way to handle things submission drewsdevonn I start to transfer my anger through my massage to him ( also BIG MISTAKE) & he starts to notice, a sheepish “hey if you could please use less pressure” & I begrudgingly abide. Before I opened the door something told me to slowly open it, and sure enough this guy was naked on top of the sheets! I tell him to get under the sheets as he does chuckling a “oh sorry”, I enter and before I touch him I say “I want to say if there’s any misunderstandings please tell me, do you have any questions?” He says a smirking no and a sorry again and I begin.
I brought him to the room and I do an intake, he starts taking off his shirt before I finish! I quickly tell him to wait til I leave and I rush through the part about how to get on the table etc.big mistake. My first “creepy client” was definitely a huge learning experience.
